Like a moth to a flame...
Like a moth to a flame
An old stone cabin; nothing fancy but warm and comfy.  The window frame and fireplace are from two previous challenges.  I applied my California Grapefruit preset to the frame and made some minor adjustments to get that look of stone around the arch.  The window was flooded with a pale sand color on a low opacity and then I applied Greg's Pool Shadow filter.  I really need to work on my "glass" technique.  I applied the same preset to the moth, but I changed the accent color to get that pattern.

A Comeback for Rak-ell WannaBe
Rak-ell WannaBe
Being pathologically narcisistic (is that an oxymoron?), Rak-ell would never grasp the concept of wearing a mask. However, she insists on always being the focus of attention, so she was compelled to don her solid gold mask which is mounted on a
gold and diamond encrusted handle. Unfortunately, she realized that she was unable to see her own..ummmmm... face; in her struggle to get a look at herself in her 5-sided
mirror backstage, her eyes became somewhat crossed. Determined that this not be noticed by her audience, she delved into her wall safe and dragged out her diamond
tiara and plopped it somewhat askew atop her chestnut coif. For the finishing touch, she stuck the hope diamond onto her solid gold bowtie. Satisfied that her audience would be so enthralled with her diamond-enhanced radiance and not
notice her crossed eyes, she made her grand entrance.

Now, does this tell you how truly warped I am? hehehe

The mask was done with my Gold Threads preset.  The stage setting belongs to Hoods and the rest evolved from my twisted little mind.
