Breast Cancer Support "You are not alone. You have come to the right place for support, information and caring from our survivor group." These are the words of welcome that hooked me right away. I can't say enough about this group of SURVIVORS, so I won't even attempt to. Try it...you might like it. Susan Love, MD Breast Cancer Foundation One of the first books recommended to me was Susan Love's Breast Book. It's big, fat and filled with answers to just about all of your questions and everything is spelled out in layperson's terms. It's become my "bible". If your breast care facility has a library, ask if they have a copy to loan out...that's what I did. It can also be ordered from Amazon.com. Dr. Love also takes questions on her website at Personal Guidance. Imaginis For me, this was the most comprehensive and understandable explanation about Staging and Grading. After my lumpectomy and Sentinal Node biopsy results came in, I knew right where I was before the surgeon had a chance to tell me. breastcancer.org is a good place to start for some very basic information in understandable language. OncoLink is a valuable resource for your questions relating to oncology. Chemocare.com is supported by figure skating Olympian Scott Hamilton and his CARES Initiative. I found it to be a wealth of information surrounding many aspects of chemotherapy. Reconstruction by Dr. Robert J. Allen If you have a resource
you've found helpful and would like to share,
I'm still giving birth to this page so many of the sections aren't linked yet.
