Although we never met in person, we communicated many times
since I put this site online.
It was Cristina's suggestion to remember those
LIVING with HIV+/AIDS.
Every 2 to 3 months, one of us would begin a flurry of emails
that were filled with fun, laughter, consternation, fear and tears.
Tonight, I received the news of Cristina's death...
her physical death. 
Her joyful and persistent spirit, as well as my memories
of the part of Cristina that she chose to share with me, will live on.
I celebrate the honor of having "met" you, Cristina.
